By reviewsic

Seattle band Post Harbor will be celebrating the release of their second album in their hometown tonight as They Can’t Hurt You If You Don’t Believe In Them, begins it’s online stream and pre-order today. With a physical release due on February 23rd by Burning Building Recordings the band is also offering a free download for the song “Caves, Hollow Trees And Other Dwellings.”

“Already grabbing headlines with a unique, vocally dynamic take on the post-rock formula, fans of Mogwai, Sigur Ros, Explosions In The Sky and Sunny Day Real Estate should take note. Post Harbor not only blurs the line between genres, it transcend the boundaries, pushing limits with ambitious arrangements and gorgeously complex musical landscapes. Expansive and reflective without compromising its focused precision, Post Harbor has the ability to transport the listener to another time and place. The ethereal vocals of Anthony Carlucci tremble with restrained emotion and act as yet another instrument in this expansive orchestra of sounds. With each listen, They Can’t Hurt You If You Don’t Believe In Them slowly reveals layer upon intricate layer, and the results are often majestic.” (Beartrap PR)
