Big Scary Monsters have announced the finishing of Chicago/Furnessville band Grown Ups‘ debut full-length, More Songs. Recorded with produce Matt Allison (Lawrence Arms, Alkaline Trio, Less Than Jake, Rise Against) the album will be hitting stands in the US and UK May 18th of this year, on both vinyl and CD, with a pre-order in April. Two brand spanking new songs from the full-length, “Weed Science” and “Pears”, are currently streaming on Myspace, and another brilliant team up with If You Make It has allowed the band to offer a digital copy of their previously released EP Songs to fans for FREE.
Last but not least, the band has announced details for their 10 day East Coast tour alongside 1994! and bands My Heart To Joy, Snowing, and Algernon Cadwallader. Stay tuned for the scoop on their tour on the other side of the Atlantic coming this summer.
